About the event

Federal government contracting can open new doors for rural businesses — from expanding customer bases to creating steady revenue streams. This FREE event will highlight why small businesses should consider pursuing these opportunities and explore the advantages of certifications such as HUBZone, woman-owned, or veteran-owned.

Representatives from the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) will discuss the basics & benefits of government contracting. Attendees will also hear directly from northcentral Wisconsin businesses who already have special certifications and are actively pursuing federal government contracts. These local leaders will share their experiences, challenges, and advice to help other rural businesses explore similar opportunities for growth and success.
